Signing of marriage certificate

I’m back! Back from my DAUGHTER’S WEDDING!! Now you know why I needed to take a break from blogging. My hair will turn grey if I don’t……*big grin*. It was such a fun wedding to remember, very different from the normal weddings that I attended. My daughter and her hubby had been planning it since last year. There was so much thoughts put into it….into the most minute detail. She kept me updated along the way but I just couIdn’t visualise it. I was overwhelmingly surprised on the wedding day! It was elaborate, celebrative and fun. Such a joy to see everyone enjoying it very much. Read more

Delicious satay with peanut sauce and cucumber

Ever crave for some food that you can’t get? I have gone through TOO many of such cravings! Sounds very greedy huh….haha. When I first landed here in Aberdeen, I was actually horrified to know that there’s no Malaysian food here. There was a very small Chinese supermarket then called Campbell which sells mainly Chinese ingredients and not Malaysian ingredients. Really glad there’s another bigger Chinese supermarket now, Matthews, which sells more Malaysian ingredients. Read more

Meetup with Arthur and Lucy

This is another continuation of my memorable trip home recently. One of the special friends that I look forward to meeting again is Arthur, a food blogger that I came to know through blogging. I met him the previous trip I went back. He is a very friendly blogger. His blog is Still Crazy After All These Years. Wonder what is he still crazy about….*big grin*. I better don’t be too nosy and stay out of trouble by not asking, just in case his answer shocked me out of my life….haha. If you want to know, go and ask him yourself. Don’t forget to come back here and tell me, ok?….*big grin*. Arthur was an English teacher so I better don’t make a fool of myself here…..hehe. If he is to mark my English here, I bet there’ll be a lot of red circles or underlines and comments here and there…..haha. Read more
