Dear Mary (Mrs Moh!),

Thankyou for the lovely Brownies which Steven kindly supplied to us today. We enjoyed them very much and we are ashamed to say they have all disappeared!

Best Wishes

Natasha & Anar

Morning Mary,

Just got sent your blog from Steven and then spent the next 30 minutes at work drooling over the pictures and recipes!!

Seriously, its much too painful to come and see all your pictures of food, when Im stuck with boring sandwiches at work.

Take care

Evan  on September 26th, 2011

Would like to know whether the walnuts used in brownies roasted or raw?

Hope you can help.

Thank you.

Mary  on September 29th, 2011

@Evan - Good question. It never cross my mind whether to roast it or not. I just added in the raw ones. They came out very good. :D

Edwin Vimalanathan  on March 7th, 2012

I visited your blog today (07 March). Looks like you have advanced a lot. Recipe presentation is excellet. I might try the beetroot cake.

I also loked at the museum write-up. It is a good record of our visit and I have shown it to some people at work.

With kind regards

Mary  on March 8th, 2012

@Edwin - Thanks for dropping by! I think I miss London…a little. Thanks very much again for taking us to the museum there. It was such an informative tour. You are a wonderful tour guide! We enjoyed the trip very much. Thanks very much for your compliments on my blog. Take care and have fun baking! Hope you enjoy the cake as much as I do :D

Hi Mary

I am a hopeless baker n your kuih binka ubi kayu was absolutely delicious! Only problem was mine was very very very oily. I used up 1/2 roll of kitchen paper to soak up the oil. Maybe I won’t add butter next time? Or maybe more ubi kayu? Thank u so much for the recipe - I like it that there is condensed milk in your recipe.

Mary  on May 31st, 2012

@Kat - Thanks very much for dropping by to let me know how your baking went on. Now I wonder why your tapioca is very oily. 60g butter is actually rather little for 500g of tapioca. I didn’t feel it was oily. But maybe, like you said, just omit the butter and see if that’s better. The butter is just to add flavour to it. Hope to hear from you again when you try it again. Have fun baking! :D

Mary, how are you? Hope you still remember me. We used to play batminton together in Aberdeen, near Cult around 2008-2009. I am fat Indonesian one that difficult to run hahaha. We are in Rio de Janeiro now. I was browsing about matstone and remembered you. I’ve been using the juicer since you introduced me last time. We feel great ever since laaa. I trying to confince my family in Malaysia to buy one also. When my inlaws here, I made them juice potato-carrot-apple everyday. Apparantly this combine fruits is good for cancer & heart problem. So..I make sure my family drinks it everyday. I could see the health improving from my parents in law, especially for my mother in law (she has lung cancer). Her breathing is starting much better & her stamina has improved a lot.

I would like to say thank you for your courage to motivate me to do this. Wishing you a happy chinesse new year. Hopefully we can meet again one day. Please come visit us here in Brazil.

Mary  on February 19th, 2013

@Rini Fatwa - Oh wow….how amazing that you have found my blog! Yes, sure I remember you! I think I have only met you 2 times, once at badminton and once at the shopping complex. My gosh…how time flies. I’m really SO encouraged to know that that your family has benefitted from juicing! That’s really the best thing I want to hear from you. And YES, I really hope we will meet again one day. Thanks so much for the invitation! I would love to visit Brazil. Hope you will visit Aberdeen again someday. In the mean time, have fun juicing. Hope you still keep up with your badminton :D

Thanks, Mary, for your comment. You and your daughter look great in your photo. I passed on your juicing comments to a young woman with cancer.
