Juicy Prawns Omelette

Prawns omelette

Prawns omelette

Prawns, or shrimps, is my top favourite. I love it big or small and any way it’s cooked. Most of the time I like to make it a little spicy but this prawns omelette is one that is not spicy all all. If you like it spicy, you can add some chopped chilies to the egg mixture before frying, or some spicy chili oil. This omelette is soft, juicy and delicious.

Thai Chicken Coconut Soup

Fabulous Thai Chicken Soup

Fabulous Thai Chicken Soup

I can’t believe that I am cooking Thai food again. After cooking the Pumpkin, Prawns And Coconut Soup, the thoughts and taste never seems to go away. I remembered I ate 3 bowls and still long for more of it. It drove me to cook again, but with chicken this time and lots of coriander leaves and more chilies. Again, it turned out faboulous. I ate 3 bowls again! Carry on like this, I think I’m going to be in trouble with my weight soon. Well, so thankful that my friends want me to join them for badminton. So, I’m playing 4 times a week now. That’s a lot of calories that I’ll burn off each time…..just very comforting to justify myself for all food indulgence…haha.

How Mobile Phones Can Cause Instant Death

Richard Pow, 26, from UK, was seen using the mobile phone a split-second before the horrific fall to his death, from 5 storeys down. His wife is pregnant with his child.

The government has rightly banned everyone from using the mobile phone when driving because it is highly dangerous. It just takes a split of a second to be distracted, lose your concentration and cause death, either to yourself or to others.

However there are still many people who use mobile phones while walking along the streets, crossing roads or pushing thier babies along. They are equally putting themselves or others to danger. Is the government going to do anything about that?

I once saw a man with 3 mobile phones in his hand! And he was so busy juggling around with his mobile phones when 2 of them started ringing. Until today I still wonder how he is able to manage 3 mobile phones at one time & why he needs to use 3 mobile phones.

What about those who use mobile phones to send text messages? I think that is worse. They don’t really look around when they are texting. I wonder if anyone has banged into a lamp post or someone while texting on the mobile phone.

Michael Jackson - A Great Man But A Sad Story

Michael Jackson - a life that carries a great story and yet carries a heart-breaking story. Thoughts about him were deinitely on my mind since his sudden death which sent shock waves throughout the entire world. Everyone is asking, ‘Why? Why? Why?’  Tributes poured in and tears poured out.

The most heart-breaking about Michael Jackson was when his beautiful 11 year-old daughter, Paris Michael Katherine said at the funeral yesterday, ‘Ever since I was born, daddy has been the best father you could ever imagine and I just wanted to say I love him so much.’ Tears just rolled down her face. As I watched her said those few words, my heart just broke for her and tears rolled down my face too. I still get choked each time I think of her and her 2 brothers.

Michael Jackson has brought a new dimension to music. I love his voice and his songs. He has phenomenal stage-presence. He is undeniably a great singer and a performer. He has left behind a great legacy that goes down in history. Like the multitudes, I am very touched by his love for kids though he may be a little crazy in his ways. He was a man of awesome musical talents.

But very sadly, Michael Jackson didn’t live long enough to see his children grow up or to see more of his musical achievements. Like many famous artiste, his life was consumed by destructive drug dependency. Like many, he lived in a world of his own. Like many, he couldn’t accept his physical looks and went under the knife many times to change his looks. Like many, he loved his children dearly but did not take care of his own health to live a long life for them. Like many, his actions caused him his prematured death. It is all so tragic. Such a beautiful and wonderful life destroyed! The world carries the pain and continues to mourn but his children carry the most intense pain and grieve the most at the loss of the greatest person in their life - their most beloved DADDY.

Is there anything that we as an indivisual, as parents, as communities and nations learn from this great and yet heart-breaking story? Do share your thoughts and comments in the comment box below. Cheap And Useful Shopping Bag If You Don’t Drive

Do you struggle trying to carry your heavy groceries home especially if you don’t drive? This is especially so for students or the elderlies or for those who stay near supermarkets. Don’t injure your fingers doing that. I have good suggestion here for you. I found this cool, trolley shopping bag in Sainsbury that can accomodate a lot of groceries and yet fold up neatly like a small bag while not in use. It only costs £4.99 when I bought it.

Heavy groceries

Heavy groceries

My shopping always consists of heavy groceries because of the amount of fruits and vegetables that my family consume. To carry this and walk for 15 minutes or so is going to break my fingers.

All the groceries in the shopping bag

All the groceries in the shopping bag

With all the above groceries in the shopping bag, it is still not full. So you see, I can actually shop for more. With the rollers, you just pull it along, way lighter than if you carry all the groceries in carrier bags.

This is the shopping bag after taking out all the groceries, flattened and ready to be folded away.

Neatly folded intoa small bag.

See how nicely and neatly folded is the shopping bag. I think it’s only about 16 inches by 8 inches.

So, if you have shopping to do and have to walk quite a distance, just go to Sainsbury or other supermarkets if they have, and get one which only costs £4.99. Don’t suffer unneccesarily.
