Creative Cartoon Drawings By A Teenager

I learn a lot through inspiration, always watching out for something to inspire me. I was sorting out my stuff recently when I came across beautiful cartoon pictures drawn by a young teenage boy, Jarrod. He drew it when he was about 15. Now he is in an Art College and really enjoys his studies. He says that this is the first time he enjoys his homework!

Jarrod is a quiet boy who loves computer work since young. Instead of wasting away his time playing computer games, he spent countless hours drawing cartoons on papers and on computers. He also created animation stuff on the computer from the cartoons he drew. He is a real inspiration to me. I believe he is going to be very successful in life because he is very disciplined and very focused. On top of that he is polite and humble. Here are his cartoon drawings.

Young people need a lot of encouragement from adults. They want someone to believe in them. They have a lot of talents. Many have yet to discover them. Those who discovered their talents and invested in them find their life very exciting and fulfilling. We can all learn from those who have discovered their talents. Just keep learning and keep smiling as you embark on your journey of discovery or if you are already on your journey. Just enjoy it.

Thought of the day……

‘Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates. There’s plenty of movement, but you never know if it’s going to be forward, backwards, or sideways.’

H. Jackson Brown Jr

Have you discovered your talent? What do you do with your talent? Please share and comment.

Be Childlike, Not Childish

What is ‘Childlike’ and what is ‘Childish‘?

When we see people, especially adults behave childish, we generally squirm with embarrassment & wonder why they haven’t grown up. Generally, we relate to childishness as unfavourable behaviours such as being immature, throwing tantrums, unfocussed, self-centeredness, lack of self-control and responsibility.

However childlikeness is a good thing. Being childlike is trusting, innocent, able to laugh freely, curious, playful, teachable, simple and adventurous.

It is sad to see many adults still carry a lot of childish behaviour and lost a lot of childlikeness. It is actually tragic to see these childish behaviours in those who are supposed to show a good example to others, particularly those who are supposed to lead others.

While we can’t change others and their childishness, we must all keep learning to grow up more mature, not to be childish, while maintaining the beauty of childlikeness. Don’t be so serious in life. If you are still not sure, just spend some time watching little children and see what you like about them and what you hope not to see in them as they grow up.

I have many little friends who have always inspired me to remain childlike. Talking and playing with them is always an honour and a humbling experience. One of them is MikT, 7+ years old. She is my inspiration.

My First Blog Post - My Dream Come True

A fulfilled dream is refreshing to the soul

A fulfilled dream is refreshing to the soul

Hi, I’m Mary. Welcome to my First Post.

I’m really excited that finally my blog goes live after months of reading and learning. It’s just such a wonderful feeling, a sense of achievement to be able to finally sit back and smile at my dream come true….my wonderful dream. I have kept to my own goal to keep learning and keep smiling at every tiny little progress, even during challenging times. It’s refreshing to the soul like a refreshing scenery.

I have wanted to start a blog about 4 years ago but never make it. It was just too confusing. I read a lot, bought a course which is all useless & finally decided to lay aside my dream for a while as life got busy. But now that I have more time, it got all fired up again. I continued to read and continued to learn, believing that I can make my dream come true if I don’t give up. I know if I want it badly enough, I’ll achieve it. My Blogging Journey (coming soon) reveals all the challenges, the fun and the huge satisfaction of my blogging venture.

Thank you for visiting. Do come back and feel free to comment below or just to say ‘hello’. I would love to hear from you. I’m sure there’s something I can learn from you too.
