I’m happy that my family loves chicken soup because it is very easy to cook and is a healthy soup. If I know that I’ll have a busy day, I’ll cook chicken soup early. When meal time comes, I only need to cook rice and another dish of vegetable stir fry and everyone will have a hot, satistying meal in less than 30 minutes.

Are you going to have a GREAT WEEKEND? Is it going to be dull, boring, lazy or one that’s really exciting and fun? Are you allowing things that happen this week to affect your weekend or are you making plans to have a great weekend despite what happened this week?
I am not too sure about you but I thought this week was a bit rough for me. Met some friends yesterday and realized that I was not the only one……stories of tough times in the family, in the job, in a new place, in school and higher institution. Then there were much anxieties and concern about the swine flu pandemic that’s hitting London hard.
In fact I was told that people even have swine flu party to get the flu earlier rather than later during the seasonal change or in winter. The news from TV confirms the fear of a double in the number of swine flu cases over the past 7 days with 100,000 new cases.
There are 2 unique shops in Aberdeen. One is called Noose and Monkey which is a pub and the other called The Monkey House which is another pub and eating place. Each time I pass by them, they remind me of the Evolution topic that we had to learn in school. I didn’t do the question on Evolution in the examination because I couldn’t tell myself that I came from a monkey. I also can’t go to my parents and tell them they came from monkeys.

EXERCISE…IT’S FOR YOUR HEALTH! You know that. But somehow you still find it difficult to do it. I shared in my previous post that if you don’t have time to go out for exercise, you can get a rebounder or mini trampoline and exercise in your house. It is fun, easy and effective.
It’s high time not to give excuses again. Find an exercise that you enjoy doing and just keep doing it. Richard Simmons makes it very fun in his weight loss club and everyone enjoys it. I like Richard Simmons because he’s so funny, so encouraging, so enthusiastic and so motivational.

Is there really a need for men to try and find out which gender is more intelligent? I think that will just help women to create more jokes about men.
My point is ….. women and men are both intelligent in their own ways. Both women and men have their own unique abilities, capabilities and potentials. They do a certain task differently. They think differently. But why are they different? I read that the reason why women behave, act, think and work very differently from men is because of the way their brains are wired. Well, I found this video really hilarious in trying to explain the difference between the brain of a woman and that of a man. Enjoy the video.

I have a real good joke here for you about women and men. Have a good laugh. But I know not everyone will, especially the men.
Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, ten men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided that one has to drop off, otherwise they are all going to fall. They were not able to choose that person, but then the woman made a very touching speech. She said that she would voluntarily let go of the rope, because as woman she was used to giving up everything for her husband and kids, and for men in general, without ever getting anything in return. As soon as she finished her speech, all the men started clapping their hands.

The man wearing shorts and blue singlet is Richard Simmons. I really like him. He’s so funny….an awesome guy. I watched him once on TV in one of his exercise routines with a lot of overweight people. He is terrific in encouraging and motivating people to exercise. He runs a weight loss club to encourage people to stay positive, eat healthy and exercise, something we all need to keep learning and doing to stay happy and healthy.
