Successful Baking Lesson For Zero Cook Husband

Lovely brownies

Lovely brownies

Ever thought of teaching a zero cook to bake? Especially if he is your husband!!! Definitely not in my entire world! I have always heard people said that you should never teach your own spouse to learn something. You may risk ending up in the divorce court! A friend of mine has been pestering her husband to bring her for more driving practices but without success. Her husband told her that it is too high a risk to take! He would rather pay the driving instructor to give his wife more lessons. Smart man….hmmm.

Spatula and whisk (to cook and bake)

It’s almost 3 months into my blogging journey. I’m still very passionate about it and find tremendous thrill and joy in blogging. I started off blogging about a number of things but as the days go by, I find myself more and more drawn into blogging about food. I guess the main reason is because I have always been very fascinated and intrigued by FOOD. On top of that I have to cook and eat everyday so why not. So, here I have come out with my:

Top 10 Benefits of Food Blogging

  1. Everyone has to eat
Everyone has to eat to live, weather pauper’s food or palace food. Food is of utmost importance, one of the basic needs of life. We started to eat the day we were born. When I craved for certain food and couldn’t have it, even a picture of it is very gratifying. The next thing is I’ll try to cook it. As long as I don’t give up I know I’ll get it right one day.

My Blogging Journey (Part 2 - Content Is King)

Part1|Part2

The journey to montain top experience requires focus, courage, determination and strength.

The journey to mountain-top experience requires focus, courage, determination and strength. It can be very rocky.

Last week, I wrote about My Blogging Journey (Part 1 - How I Got It Started). Now what? How do I proceed from there?

What to Write? How to Write?

After setting up everything for my blog, I was more confused. All the terms blew me off and I was quite nervous to put down anything on my blog. I only know that Content is King. So, I wrote and wrote and wrote but nothing was published. Just thinking that my blog will be live for the whole world to see just terrified me. What if I write something wrongly? What if people criticize me? What if people sue me? What if…what if…what if? Come to think of it now, I am amused at myself for being so naive. In fact no one knows and no one actually notices!!! It takes time for people to get to know it and take an interest in it. I learned : Do not go into the negative. Know what you want and be confident to do it.

Have A Dream

My blogging journey is really a very challenging, exciting and enjoyable endeavour. It is all about my dream to become a blogger and a good one. It never got off my mind since about 4 years ago. I never gave up learning for more even though it was so confusing. All the terms just blew my mind even until today but I’m learning. I bought a course back then but it wasn’t helpful at all. It didn’t teach me all the installation and how to run a good blog.  I put off for quite long after I became too busy with my teaching and family.

I know many people say it’s very easy to start one…just go to Blogger for a free one and start writing, about anything. But that’s not what I want. I really wanted to know well what is blogging, its potential and how to blog well to reach that potential.

Top 11 Reasons Why Blogging Is Beneficial For Everyone

I was, and still am, very excited when my first blog post took off on 16th June 2009. That was really my dream come true. Since then I really enjoyed writing and making friends with other bloggers all over the world, learning much from them and contributing in whatever little ways I can. We add values to each other’s lives. So, to me, blogging has to be one of the best hobbies. It can be a hobby on top of your hobby.

It is a lot of hard work initially as I learned how to blog and how to do it well. I am still learning how to be a better blogger, to write valuable contents and to social network with others.

I continued to read and continued to learn, believing that I can make my dream come true if I don’t give up. I know if I want it badly enough, I’ll achieve it.
