I have been using NuStevia everyday, in my drinks and baking. I love it in my fruit salad too, as shown here above. The oranges are often not sweet so I added a pinch of salt and a little stevia powder to sweeten it up. It tastes really good after that. I love my fruit to be sweeter. Using stevia has helped me cut down on a lot of sugar intake.

Stevia is a natural sweetener derived from a sweet-leaved plant called stevia. Stevia extract can be 300x sweeter than sugar. It is all natural and does not impact blood sugar levels unlike other forms of sugar. It is also zero in calories.

NuNatural supplies various types of stevia. There are the powder ones and also the extract ones.

These are highly concentrated NuStevia extract liquids combined with All-Natural flavours of real orange, vanilla, cocoa and peppermint. This white stevia product in small packets contains white stevia and cellulose. You don’t need a lot when you make drinks. For  a mug of coffee, I only use 1/4 of a packet when I used to add 2 teaspoons of sugar. What a difference! I always have a few packets in my bag. It comes so handy when I am having coffee or tea in a cafe. It is even suitable for Type I and II diabetes.

I try to eat as healthy as possible. The first good thing I did for my health was that I quit smoking! Regarding a real life joke my son always asked me why we call Chicken Gordon Bleu and I explained it to him. So, one day that I made a version of my own, he decided to call it Mummy Bleu Chicken. As for following I have you in my feeds MayMo so I don’t know if this is ok! Stevia is a very promising alternative to sugar and I hope it will be here to stay so as for people with diabetis to be able to enjoy sweets without the fear of increasing their sugar levels.

Mary, I wished I lived in the UK and can take part in your giveaway! I know stevia is a great natural sweetener. Its not easy to find and expensive, if available at all in Asia.

I feel guilty of STILL using regular sugar. I don’t take too much sugar as I don’t (cannot) bake. But I know that’s not a good excuse. I use honey to replace sugar but that’s about it. Time to research and think of alternative! Thanks for reminder/inspiration!

This company sent me their products and I’ve been a fan ever since. It truly has no after taste, in my estimation anyway. And I love it’s natural origins. Lovely fruit salad!

Hi Mary, thanks for the note on my blog, I’m back here again to try! I have been juicing, eating less oil, eating less meats (more fish/tofu) for a while now… It’s been great. I also buy agave nectar as a sweetener and use brown sugar where possible… would love to try Stevia!

Yoohoo…guess who? Haha. Ok I gotta do this the OCD way.

1. Greatest success in trying to eat healthy? It’s gotta be when I made the choice to cut down on drinking pop. Can u believe I used to drink about 2-3 cans a day almost everyday? Now I mostly drink water.

2. A real life joke of myself or a loved one? Ok, one time in band camp…hahaha…just kidding. You have to have seen the movie to understand what I was joking about. Anyways, did I ever tell you about the time I banged my head so hard on Stripy’s ceiling? Well, you know where the bed and ceiling are in comparison to each other, right? So I thought I was so smart that I could quickly jump up and tuck my blanket under the mattress. Also b/c I was too lazy to get off the bed to do it. Anyways, forgetting how low the ceiling was (in the dark), I jumped up and of course banged my head so hard that I had to get off the bed and turn the light on to check that I didn’t leave a dent. Thank goodness I didn’t. Would’ve been SO embarrassed. Plus I remember thinking to myself, “please don’t come on to check on me” hoping that the owner of the house ;) didn’t hear the big bang. Hahaha. Crazy? Teehee.

Hi! Been looking for a good brand for Stevia and this looks amazing!

1) Most healthy diet change is cutting down my intake of animal protein and sugar. Also endeavor to drink 8 glasses of water a day!

2) My aunty told me this joke. “Cash, check or charge?” the cashier asked after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As the woman fumbled for her wallet, the cashier noticed a remote control for a television set in her purse.
“Do you always carry your TV remote?” the cashier asked.
“No,” she replied. “But my husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him.”

Thought this was funny haha. And a great idea too!

okay so i’m not very good at entering these giveaways but i’ll give it my best shot because its steeevia :))) haha

1. okay my greatest success in trying to eat healthy has been kind of a package-deal kind of thing. I only eat healthy when i’m in the right mindset, so i try to go to the gym as a part of making myself eat the right foods to get the most optimal workout, including rolled oats (i find these great for right before the workout!) and lots of fruit and veggies. I’ve also tried to cut out buying junk food at the supermarket in favour of making it (cakes, cookies, etc.) myself. Gotta make myself work for it right? :P And finally, i make green smoothies with kale, cucumber (so refreshing in smoothies!), blueberries and green tea! super rich in nutrients and yummy!

2. okay this is a bit of an embarrassing one…not sure if anyone will find this funny…but when i was in second year of university, i was walking with my friend to her flat and talking to her about this guy i liked. for a joke, i told her, “we better check to make sure he’s totally not around hahaha”. So i turned around and guess what - he was walking behind us, a few meters back, grinning goofily at us. anyhow, i was so shocked i yelped out and ran. (i could hear him laughing at me in the distance as i ran off pulling my friend.) I’m not sure if he heard us that day (hope not. :P) but to this day, i ALWAYS check to make sure people aren’t around when i’m saying remotely anything about them, no matter how unlikely the situation is!

I try to eat as healthy as I can but very often junk food has a way of ’seducing’ us to want more because they are so addictive. I love those fruits on the plate - can certainly induldge without feeling guilty!
