I can’t believe it….I can’t believe it!! Oh no, World No. 2 Rafael Nadal, one of my favourite, was beaten out of Wimbledon 2012 in the second round by World No. 100, Likas Rosol of Czechoslovakia, who is rather unknown in the tennis world until now! I watched in utter shock as Rosol pounded hard at Nadal, every ball packed with enormous power and energy. I’m sure everyone who watched last night’s match was stunned with unbelief.

One thing I really like about Rosol is his attitude and his sense of coolness and focus, very gentleman and very professional like Roger Federer, my top favourite. As for the women players, I have to admit that all the screaming and groaning can reach unbearable heights. I’m glad that I am at home watching it on telly….just turn down the volume…..*grin*. As for women players, I love to watch those who remain lady like. My favourite is World No.38, Pironkova of Bulgaria, who lost to Maria Sharapova very narrowly. She is just so sweet and so calm throughout the match. It’s such a delight to watch her play. I really hope she will win a Grand Slam one day.

Is there any lessons that we can learn ourselves from all these players in sports and also lessons to teach our kids? I’m sure there are lots. I believe it’s all about attitude and character that determines our altitude in life.

Well, you can see that I have been enjoying myself very much, watching Wimbledon 2012 with my legs up. My family thinks that I’m safer that way…..haha. Having said that I just can’t wait to be off my crutches and be out and about again. One way to do it is to have lots of good food. Fruits and juices are powerful in healing. I must say my surgery would is healing very well and I do hope the repaired tendon is also healing well.

All the pictures here are what I enjoy most days, of course not forgetting my favourite carrot-apple juice. Freshly made juices are very refreshing and delicious healthy drinks. They are well packed with live nutrients and enzymes. The watermelon juice is particularly delicious especially on a hot day. So, you can see I am rather happy eating very healthy and watching Wimbledon 2012….*big smiles*. Lol at, “my family thinks I’m safer that way.” hahaha! I don’t really like watching women’s tennis. I find it too slow and too short compared to the men’s. The screaming thing is a bit annoying too. Lol.

Loving all your fruits and drinks. Very healthy and refreshing to have during the hot summer days. I’ve recently gotten hooked on Costco’s sugar snap peas. I find them quite sweet and they make a quick healthy snack. My kids love them too. Yesterday we went through one whole bag. Today I went out and bought another bag. Haha.
