Surprise…surprise! It’s a REAL BIG surprise when Ann at Pig Pig’s Corner emailed me to say that I am the winner of the Valentine’s Day gift by Hotel Chocolat. I just couldn’t believe it. But when it came yesterday, I knew I was not dreaming. Gosh…I feel SO loved!

I opened up the package and was really impressed by the lovely heart-shaped box filled with lots of beautiful chocolates, just perfect for Valentine’s Day. Wow…I feel ‘Love is in the air!’
Not only do they look fabulous but they taste REALLY REALLY GOOD……soooo creamy, smooth and delicious. This is definitely one that every girl or woman would love to receive from her boyfriend or husband.

These 6 pieces here are my favourite in terms of look especially the lips ones. They look so sexy! The heart shaped ones are also very pretty.

I almost hardly join any giveaway competition but then this time I was attracted by Ann’s question on her blog post, “what’s the most cliché yet still LOVE Valentine’s day gift can you can think of!” After some thoughts, I wrote, “A big pair of red lips that’s filled with little heart shaped, sparkly, winey, chocolates 
” Don’t you like my answer? What would be yours? Well, I haven’t found such a chocolate. Maybe Hotel Chocolate will come out with that one day.

To let you know, that’s one of my top favourite cake when I was back home in Malaysia. It’s a very expensive cake.

Hi Mary. Congradulations on your yummy win!!! It looks so good! I read your post yesterday and enjoyed it very much. But I looked and looked and could not find where to comment!! I had wanted to say I love the Chinese party pictures!! The woman who created the cake looks so full of joy, and I love the picture of you all digging into the salad with chopsticks. Our family usually have a Chinese New Year’s party every year because our granddaughter is Chinese.
