Cute Early Christmas Gift
First of all I want to thank my readers and friends for all your well wishes and prayers for my dad and words of comfort and encouragement to me. Really appreciate very much. Dad is slowly recovering at home. Mom is of course the happiest, so am I.
The past few weeks were most worrying about my dad and sad about my cousin brother. But something happened that really cheered me up. A very good friend dropped by to pass me a very cute early Christmas gift…the first Christmas gift for this year!! He is just so sweet! He knows I love to bake and cook so he gave me 2 pairs of beautiful Christmas socks rolled up in cupcake cases. They look like cupcakes! What a real surprise and a real delight to receive it! We had a good laugh at how cute they looked.
Look at these pretty socks! I really like them very much. I will wear them on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Oh, just recently he gave me a really nice cupcake cookbook….lots of cute cupcakes. I would really like to try baking some, and making the decorations, too. Would be fun!
What is the cutest Christmas gift you received? Please share, add and comment in the comment box below.

Hi Mary,
I’m really glad to hear that your dad is recovering and that your mom is in a much happier mood with him by her side.
Your friend is brilliant fir making those into cupcakes. Those socks and the way they were wrapped are sooo adorable. He really did put some thought into this gift and that’s what really counts. You’re lucky to have such caring, thoughtful friends. But at the same time, I’m not surprised you do ;-).

Oh Mary the socks are darling! They remind me of something the hubby’s late Aunt would buy, and give to him instead of me. lol She was a grand lady!
