Freshly made juices are highly important for health. They are power-packed with nutrients that are easily absorbed by the body straight into the cellular level for repair, rebuilding and regeneration.

I have so far shared 2 lovely juices:
carrot and apple juice
carrot, apple and beet juice

I do hope you have started juicing. Some of you were juicing before but have somehow stopped for some reasons. Don’t give up; it’s time to start again. Your improved health (including that of everyone in your family) should be your greatest motivation to keep juicing. A healthy family is a happier family.


Broccoli - has the best reputation for fighting cancer

Today I would like to share another important juice which is Carrot, Apple and Broccoli juice. I don’t quite like it as much as the above 2 because I don’t like the smell and taste of raw, green vegetables in my juice. However I drink it for health reasons every now and then. The only difference is broccoli. You don’t need to add in a lot of broccoli which can be too over powering and may kill your joy of drinking juice. If you want to last in the long haul, always make sure that your juices tastes very nice so that you will always look forward to making and drinking them. Please follow the rules in drinking juices as I shared in the previous article on Carrot, Apple And Beet Juice.

The amount of vegetables that I use are:
3 carrots
1 apple
3-4 florets of broccoli

Wash and peel the carrot and apple if they are not organic and cut them into smaller pieces. Wash the broccoli and cut them into smaller chunks. Then feed them into the juicer to juice it. The only juicer that I recommend is the masticating juicer which gives you high quality juice. It is a great investment into your health. It is worth every penny you spend.

What are the health benefits of these vegetables?

They are all high in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants to help us build up our body immune system which is our defence system. Broccoli contains a lot of beta carotene as well as many other valuable nutrients that make it a powerful cancer-fighting food.

Broccoli! Hmmm… I have not tried with brocoli before. I guess there is still the sweetness from the apples and carrots.

@Penny - correct, there’s still the aweetness from the carrots and apple but you can smell and taste the raw green vegetables which I’m not too keen. I don’t add broccoli all the time, just on occasions, for health sake.

@Divina - Awww….can imagine the frustrations without a juicer. But u can still juice with the centrifugal type. At least you drink juices though the quality is not as good as the masticating type. Do hope you are able to get one soon so that we can all read your juices articles.

@Natasha - Thanks for sharing. All freshly-made juices are ver healthy to the body. We do a great favour to our bodies by drinking them. I do hope you get your juicer soon…the sooner the better.

@Pierre - You are most welcome. The English translation may not be fully accurate but I can roughly understand what you are trying to say. I think you mean putting the cooked ingredients into a blender or proceesor to blend so that they look like creamed soup. It does put smiles on my face…..:) Thanks very much again for that special effort.

I juice carrot broccoli juice most every morning. 12 oz. I use about four pieces of broccoli. It tastes good. The best thng is, the rest of the day, even If you eat less then perfect, you started out as good as it gets. Later.
