It’s some simple, cooking time again. I have here a very simple, easy banana spring rolls recipe for desserts. As long as there are fruits, I can say it’s a healthier dessert. All you need is:
spring roll wrappers
banana (peeled and sliced)
oil (olive oil or coconut oil)
Put a few sliced bananas diagonally in the centre of the spring rolls wrappers and roll up. Use a little water to make the end stick together.
Deep fry them until golden brown on all sides. Remove, drain, cool them down a little before tucking into them. It’s very crunchy and yet bursting with the natural sweetness from the bananas.
If you have a very sweet tooth, you can sprinkle a little icing sugar on the banana spring rolls for a nice look. I did not do that because it’s already very sweet for me. I made a cup of hot tea to go with it. How interesting I thought….banana spring rolls with nice vanilla ice-cream and a hot cup of tea. I made my tea in a Snoopy cup which was given to me by a little friend because she knows I like Snoopy. How sweet of her! I enjoyed my wonderful tea-time while browsing through a recipe book.
