I’m sure every now and then you have a bad day. I definitely have. We always say we get out of the wrong side of the bed. A bad day is when you just feel depressed, angry, worried, frustrated, disappointed, discouraged, disillusioned, hurt, helpless, hopeless…….. We just look depressed, downcast, tired, gloomy, and uninterested. And words that come out from our mouths would be, ‘Who cares?’, ‘I don’t want to talk about it’, ‘Leave me alone’. Usually we really mean it and yet on the other hand we want to get over with it. But how? If you don’t know what a bad day means and what it’s like, watch this lovely video, one of my favourite, to understand it better. There’s something we can learn from it.
Right, we all need friends as I mentioned in my previous post, Characteristics Of Good Friends. Good friends are like precious jewels. They are important. They do play a key role in helping us in many ways and many times to bounce back from a bad day. But then, sometimes it doesn’t work. The problem is not with them but with us. We have a BIG part to play. Here I have:
6 Things You Must Do To Get Over A Bad Day (learned from the video above)
- You have to GET UP.
- You have to SPEAK OUT.
- You have to LISTEN.
- You have to ACT IT OUT.
- You have to CHEER UP.
- You have to MOVE ON.
If you refuse to get up, unwilling to speak out, reluctant to listen, not wanting to act it out, just enjoy your pity party and insist in staying put, then you are never going to get over your bad day. It’s really not worth suffering. Learn ‘HAKUNA MATATA’ which means ‘no worries for the rest of the day’.
