One of the world and top attractions in London is the famous Portobello Market, a street market. We were one day walking along the walkway outside Kensington Gardens admiring all the beautiful artworks when a Brazilian lady stopped to talk to us. She explained to us some of the beautiful pieces of art; the artists and the mediums used for the various paintings. Then she told us about Portobello Market, a place that we must not miss. It opens everyday but the best time to go is on Saturday. She taught us how to get there. That was very kind of her.

Very delicious fried rice noodles (kway tiao)

In a recent trip to the Malaysian Hall (Malaysian High Commission), we decided to have something different. This time we went in the evening for a try. The crowd was again as big as when we were there during lunch time. We ordered the Malaysian ‘kway tiao goreng‘ which is fried rice noodles. It tasted so good with a little spiciness to it. The portion is not too big which is good for me. Together with a plate of ‘nasi lemak’ and 2 glasses of ‘teh tarik’, it cost £11 altogether. What a satisfying meal!
