Malaysian Hall in London - Near Beautiful Kensington Gardens

Malaysian Hall London

Malaysian Hall London

Malaysian Hall (Malaysian High Commission) Cafe not only boasts of its various exotic and authentic local Malaysian food but also its location in the very heart of London.

It is located near Queensway Tube Station. At the top of the stairs to exit the Queensway Tube Station, turn left to Bayswater. Keep to left and turn into the second road. After a very short distance you will see the Malaysian flag flying from the first floor. That’s it.  There’s a stairs outside the entrance that leads to the basement where the cafe is.

A Surprise - A Special Friend

Do you get a surprised visit from a friend?
Do you get a surprised visit from a special friend?
I have and it really brightens my day.

A special visit by a special friend

A special visit by a special friend

Went to MacDonald quite early in the morning for a cup of tea, some food and read the day’s paper. There out of the blue, a beautiful, black Scottish bird (picture here) flew in and landed on the chair just next to mine, about 2 feet away. That’s such a heart-warming visit, a HUGE surprise to me, first time in my life. It was not frighten even when I took out my camera to take a shot of him. I suppose he loved to be photographed. He did pose well, didn’t he? He was also very well behaved because he didn’t snatch my food. He definietly attrracted much attention. What a celebrity he made of himself! And what a paparazzi I made of myself, taking many shots of him.

Exotic, Authentic Malaysian Food in London

Beef Rendang Rice

Beef Rendang Rice

Malaysian food…….the spices, the seasoning, the tastes……..oh, nothing beats that. There are some Malaysian dishes that lingers on in your mind even after a few months. That’s what I would call a great dish.

Got up this morning and really miss some of the Malaysian food. I mean I can cook well but the preparation can be very time consuming. It would be so easy to be able to just go out and eat. Sadly, it’s just my dream because there’s no Malaysian cafe in Aberdeen. Maybe my next dream should be to start one. It’s always exciting to dream. Dream….dream….dream…..I love to dream…..and see my dream come true.

My First Blog Post - My Dream Come True

A fulfilled dream is refreshing to the soul

A fulfilled dream is refreshing to the soul

Hi, I’m Mary. Welcome to my First Post.

I’m really excited that finally my blog goes live after months of reading and learning. It’s just such a wonderful feeling, a sense of achievement to be able to finally sit back and smile at my dream come true….my wonderful dream. I have kept to my own goal to keep learning and keep smiling at every tiny little progress, even during challenging times. It’s refreshing to the soul like a refreshing scenery.

I have wanted to start a blog about 4 years ago but never make it. It was just too confusing. I read a lot, bought a course which is all useless & finally decided to lay aside my dream for a while as life got busy. But now that I have more time, it got all fired up again. I continued to read and continued to learn, believing that I can make my dream come true if I don’t give up. I know if I want it badly enough, I’ll achieve it. My Blogging Journey (coming soon) reveals all the challenges, the fun and the huge satisfaction of my blogging venture.

Thank you for visiting. Do come back and feel free to comment below or just to say ‘hello’. I would love to hear from you. I’m sure there’s something I can learn from you too.
