Exotic, Authentic Malaysian Food in London
Malaysian food…….the spices, the seasoning, the tastes……..oh, nothing beats that. There are some Malaysian dishes that lingers on in your mind even after a few months. That’s what I would call a great dish.
Got up this morning and really miss some of the Malaysian food. I mean I can cook well but the preparation can be very time consuming. It would be so easy to be able to just go out and eat. Sadly, it’s just my dream because there’s no Malaysian cafe in Aberdeen. Maybe my next dream should be to start one. It’s always exciting to dream. Dream….dream….dream…..I love to dream…..and see my dream come true.
Well, for those who love or miss Malaysian food in UK, there’s great news for you. The cafe at the Malaysian High Commission in London, also called Malaysian Hall (opposite Kensington Gardens), offers great Malaysian food at a good price……..a MUST to visit if you are there.
This is what Steven and I ate on a recent visit there.
This lovely meal cost about £10.00 and that’s a good price for 2. That was such a satisfying meal to be in London. There are a lot of other nice food and also Malaysian desserts. The place is very packed during lunch time.
Right, I’ll definitely start cooking myself again when my craving gets too strong and I’ll share with you my cooking. But for today, I’ll just be happy with some simple cooking.

it’s so difficult to get teh tarik in UK. The tea used is very different. I miss teh tarik.

It’s always difficult to find delicious and reasonably priced food in London, but the Malaysian Hall definitely looks like one of the best places I’ve seen. I will making a visit there for sure the next time I am down in London!

I got excited when I saw the picture of the Nasi Lemak. I have been looking for a recipe so I can cook it. Do you by any chance know the recipe? Do you think it is asking too much if you could post the recipe? Thank you very much.
